A happy day came last month when Aldi opened their doors in Chelsea! I am surrounded by those who think the quarter for the buggy and bagging your own groceries are just too much 🥵. I, however, enjoying seeing what’s new. What will I try today? I’m slowly winning over my husband, who responds to most everything with, “it’s alright”, because he must have a supply of pumpkin seeds and Greek yogurt (see above). This Greek yogurt is his “ice cream”. The rosemary flatbread and butter base cheese…lovely! The packages lying flat are treat boxes to take the neighbors some Christmas cookies.
We have lived in Chelsea less than two years. We have enjoyed discovering new places within our community and venturing to neighboring communities as well.

Last Friday, I participated in the Chelsea Fall Boutique Crawl. It did not disappoint! The stores: Magnolia’s Gift Shop, High Cotton, Southern Roots, King’s Home Collection, Honey & Blush. I enjoyed them all but I especially liked Southern Roots and King’s Home. Kings home supports the ladies of King’s Home as well as other ministries.

Wednesday, we went to Columbiana to get new passports. The ladies at the courthouse were so very kind and helpful. They recommended Davis Drug for lunch. It was hopping. I love local!! The cheese burger was so messy and yummy!! Hubby had the Autumn Chicken Salad sandwich. He said it was good and that is huge compliment, see above. Next time, we will spend more time checking out the shops and adding a milkshake at Davis Drug.
Stay tuned. Sometimes my post will be light-hearted and sometimes they will go a little deeper. My goal is to always bring joy and good tidings as well as helpful information.
